Creating Your Custom AdSense Channels
Creating channels in your AdSense is critical for tracking your clicks. Follow this 3 step process and take advantage of the awesome tool that Google has in their AdSense program.
Step 1
Following up from your "Color Coding" page that we know you read (and if you didn't, go read it now!) you'll continue by clicking on the link "Add new channel".
Step 2
A prompt box will pop-up to enter your channel. This channel code can be anything you want it to be. However, we strongly suggest that you put something like mynewblogAD1. This specific channel would tell you in your statistics that your website mynewblog had a click in the header, since the ad1 is the 468x60 sized ad located in the header (top) of the WordPress blog.
Step 3
Click the [Continue] button and then copy and paste your code into allocated sections of your order. You're done. You are now a jedi channel master. May the force be with you.
